Meet Ania

Ania Bakunova, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD, BE, IBCLC, is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in Brooklyn, NY, and the founder of Keystone SLP. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a New York State License, and a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification.

Ania earned her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Adelphi University and further specialized in pediatric feeding therapy and swallowing by obtaining an Advanced Certificate in Pediatric Dysphagia from New York Medical College. She has extensive experience treating speech, language, feeding, and swallowing disorders across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient care, home-based therapy, and schools. Her expertise spans working with diverse populations, from infants to young adults.

In addition, Ania is trained in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and PROMPT, further enhancing her ability to address oral motor and speech challenges effectively. With a passion for supporting mothers and breastfeeding infants, Ania completed her lactation consultant training at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, focusing on both inpatient and outpatient care. She is also an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Ania takes a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to addressing speech, language, and feeding challenges. She is dedicated to providing personalized care and empowering clients to achieve their unique communication and feeding goals.
