Frequently Asked Questions

Will insurance cover therapy sessions?

Keystone SLP is currently in-network with Cigna and Aetna. For out-of-network clients, a superbill can be provided. Contact for private pay rates for speech therapy.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is a detailed document listing the services provided during a session and their costs. It is not an insurance claim but includes the necessary information for insurance reimbursement for eligible services, such as speech therapy or pediatric feeding therapy.

Where are services provided?

Therapy sessions are offered in-home, at a child’s school, or via telehealth.

How long do evaluations and therapy sessions last?

Evaluations typically last 45–60 minutes. Therapy sessions are generally 30 minutes but may vary based on a child’s specific needs and goals for speech or feeding therapy.

How long will therapy be needed?

The duration of therapy depends on each child’s unique needs. An estimated timeline will be provided after the initial speech or feeding evaluation.
